(June 29, 2026) Olympia Fields Hospital, a member of Prime Healthcare, one of the nation’s largest physician-led health systems, has earned an overall “A” grade in Social Responsibility on the 2026 Lown Hospitals Index, recognizing the hospital’s commitment to delivering equitable, high-quality, and value-driven care. The hospital also received “A” grades in Health Equity, Patient Outcomes, Clinical Outcomes, Inclusivity, Cost Efficiency, and Racial Inclusivity, reflecting its longstanding dedication to improving patient outcomes while advancing health equity and strengthening the communities it serves.
The Lown Hospitals Index for Social Responsibility is the only national ranking that evaluates hospitals on measures of social responsibility, including health equity, value of care, and patient outcomes. The Index examines how equitably care is delivered, how well hospitals invest in their communities, and whether patients receive high-value care that avoids unnecessary procedures, in addition to traditional measures such as clinical outcomes and patient safety. More than 50 metrics contribute to a hospital’s overall score.
