Welcome to Our Olympia Fields Hospital Gastroenterology Fellowship Program

Our program is designed to provide the educational foundation and procedural skills necessary to prepare our fellows for fulfilling careers in both clinical and academic medicine. Ideally situated just outside Downtown Chicago, our location fosters a dynamic learning environment with access to a diverse patient population and a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver diseases.

At Olympia Fields Hospital, our gastroenterology fellowship program is committed to providing exceptional clinical training, mentorship, and academic opportunities. We strive to cultivate an environment that encourages professional growth, lifelong learning, and excellence in patient care.

Our faculty are dedicated to supporting each fellow’s educational and career goals. We value collaboration, mutual respect, and teamwork, while celebrating the achievements of our fellows throughout their training. This collegial atmosphere allows us to address the individual needs of our trainees and help them develop the knowledge, procedural expertise, and leadership skills necessary for success in gastroenterology.

We invite you to explore our program and learn more about the outstanding educational experiences available at Olympia Fields Hospital.

Bio: I am a recent arrival to graduate medical education, having spent twelve years in undergraduate medical education where I held various positions from academic skills specialist to Assistant and Associate Dean for Curriculum at the University of Illinois, Urbana and Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine in Pennsylvania. I am fascinated with the complexity of graduate medical education and am excited to see medical students transition to physicians.
